heart journey

my heart is whole yet heavy 
my body wired yet weary
im struggling in this place
with your heart upon my face
i keep resisting
you keep persisting
im running from you in stillness
you catch me in my blindness
to cleanse the fear in my eyes
to show me all in life is a prize
you pierce my heart with light
shadow engulfed by love dissolves
