every breath

in every breath i am dying
my world feels like its lying
my life begs for you to steal
all that is not real 
truth pierces me to the other side
where only love resides
a place where all my lives are one
nothing needs to be done
i welcome this taste of death
you inhale my life with your breath
it coats my flesh like new birth
a layer of skin peels to bring forth
what i grasp like a grateful beggar
in this death i make you a pledger
to surrender to your love
